The challenge
When we took over the grounds, the previous provider had left the complex in poor shape. Hedges were badly overgrown, some pathways were blocked, and the lawns had deteriorated.
On a complex this size, those problems affect everyone: residents walking to their homes, owners trying to sell or lease, and the committee fielding complaints.
Getting it back in shape
To get the complex back in shape, we started with several visits a week. In that recovery phase we:
- cut overgrown hedges back to a reasonable height. See hedge trimming and pruning
- cleared the walkways, so residents could use every path again
- refurbished the lawns. See lawn restoration
Keeping it that way
Once the grounds were back under control, the body corporate kept us on for an ongoing program:
- lawn mowing and edging every week
- garden maintenance every two weeks
The result
Better presentation
Owners have noticed townhouse values rising since the grounds were brought back into shape and kept that way.

Many owners and tenants have told us they're happy with the result.
More light and airflow
With the hedges at a reasonable height, more sun reaches the complex, and better airflow keeps it cooler in summer.
